Vicky- Thank you for your comment. I had the heart shape already from an antique store. I believe that someone made them by soldering two metal pieces together to form the heart shape. They were an ugly metal color so I just wrapped them with some shabby chic material and lace that I had and glued the end of the fabric to the metal to keep it in place.
Thanks so much to Tausha to share your link. I've been admiring all you blog to the beginning ! so pleased to be your newest French follower (LE CHEMIN DU BONHEUR)and to add you to my blog roll to be sure to read all your new posts. xoxo from PARIS Joƫlle
I am so excited to have a follower from France. My last name is French, so I am intrigued with the french culture. I have been to France a couple of times and love it. I hope to one day go antiquing there and would love to ask you to recommend some great antique areas or antique markets when I go. I am following your blog as well. I love all of your pink and your gorgeous Christmas tree. I could have used your help to decorate my tree:) I ended up moving into a new rental home just two weeks before Christmas so I did not have too much time to decorate. It is so nice to meet you. I hope you had a wonderful New Year. xxxx Aaron

Hi Leeann- I am glad you found my blog, thank you for visiting. I found the roses at a flea market, I believe in Massachusetts. I will try to look for more and let you know if I find some. I love roses too and I think I love antiques so much because they never go out of style. Similar to classic movies and Disneyland. Thank you for your sweet comments. I really do appreciate people like you who understand why I collect and treasure things. xxxx
